Dementia Caregivers Support Group

October 9 @ 11:30 am

New support group for individuals caring for loved ones living with dementia meets at 11:30 a.m., at Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster Street. Bring along a lunch or snack and take a break with others sharing similar situations. A special welcome to Portuguese and Spanish speakers, their language will be accommodated by group facilitator Lidia Ayala from Benchmark at Split Rock.

Teen Volunteer Orientation

Teens who need community service hours. Stop in anytime to complete an application and attend this orientation; no registration required. Parents: expect to attend this workshop with teens. Welcome All Young Padwans (Jedis in Training) 1-12 years old with caregivers. Drop in to Plumb as you complete your Jedi Training. Upon completion of each Jedi Station you will receive a star. Collect all six, present to a Jedi Master for your prize. Costumes are welcome.
