Bus trip

September 30

The First United Methodist Church of Shelton is offering a bus trip to the Eden Resort in Lancaster, Penn., Tuesday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 2. Trip includes tours, an artist talk and shopping. Also Moses at the Sight and Sound Theater.  Cost of the trip is $399 per person/double occupancy and a deposit of $75 per person is being collected now. Pisciotta will explain how to identify potential hazards and risks associated with your home. Sunset Run for the Warriors

August 17

Annual event that can be run as a 10K, 5K, 1-mile and kids’ race. At the Huntington Green, with live music, food vendors and children’s activities. Registration for the Sunset Run for the Warriors is $20 for the 10K, 5K, and 1-mile races, and $10 for the kids’ race. There is special pricing for service members, military families, and veterans.
