Lea Lindsay Trembeczki

Lea Lindsay Trembeczki, 64, of Shelton, the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Trembeczki, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

Born in Bridgeport to the late Charles and Catherine Doherty Lindsay, she was a lifelong area resident.

Lea graduated from Marymount College in 1970 with a Bachelor Degree in Economics. She was employed for over thirty years in the Human Resource Department at Sikorsky Aircraft.

Lea belonged to the Ladies’ Auxiliary of Port 5 NANV in Bridgeport and also volunteered at Bridgeport Hospital. She was also involved with the Head Start Program in Jupiter, FL. In her spare time, Lea loved to read and spend time with her family and friends.

Lea is survived by her loving sister, Kit Heisel and her husband, John of Goose Creek, SC; sisters-in-law, Mary Sara and her husband, Phillip of Fairfield, Ann Boyle and her husband, David of Shelton and Margaret Rosenthal and her husband, Albert of Shelton; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield, handled arrangements.
