Police conducting Click it or Ticket checkpoints

The Shelton Police Department will be participating in the Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign from Dec. 3 through Dec. 16.

Seat belt checkpoints will be set up during the day and evening hours throughout various locations in Shelton to crack down on safety belt violators, according to a press release from Lt. Robert Kozlowsky.

The intent of this enforcement effort is to remind motorists to always use good roadway safety sense, Kozlowsky said.. Motorists should always buckle up and obey all traffic laws.
