William A. Stocek

William A. Stocek, age 99, passed away on November 27, 2012, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Bill was born in New York City and was a World War II Navy veteran.

Before retiring, he worked on Wall Street for 47 years. Prior to moving to Shelton, Connecticut, he lived in Bellerose, New York, for over 40 years. For the past four years he resided at St. Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull.

Bill loved the outdoors, being near the water, taking trips to the casinos and watching sports on TV. He was outgoing, incredibly generous, and quickly made new friends. He enjoyed being with people and always had a smile and helping hand for everyone.

He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Bonin and her husband Don of Easton, Connecticut; and Adrienne Stocek of Woodstock, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bertha and Francis, his wife Audrey, a baby daughter Deborah, and his siblings Rudy, Ed and Louise.
