The CIAC released its state tournament soccer pairings on Wednesday afternoon, with both Shelton squads drawing an FCIAC opponents.
Seeded 17th overall, the SCC runner-up Gaelettes (9-4-6) will travel to Taft Field to face No. 16 seed Fairfield Ludlowe on Friday (9-5-2) at 2 p.m.
It’s the third year in a row and fourth time in five years the Gaelettes will face the Falcons in states.
The boys team (7-6-4) is seeded No. 25 and will battle No. 8 seed Wilton High (12-3-1) tomorrow at 2 p.m.
