The Zumba event will support the fight against breast cancer.

Susan G. Komen is partnering with Club 24 in an attempt to host the world’s largest Zumba fitness class on Sunday, Sept. 7 in the football stadium at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.

Organizers hope to make the Guinness Book of World Records.

Doors will open at 9 a.m., with the Zumba class from 9:30 to 10:20.

The cost is $5 or free with student ID, and 100% of the donations will go to Susan G. Komen to fight breast cancer.

WestConn is off Exit 4 on Interstate 84. Parking will be available on the campus and the commuter parking lot next to the stadium.

Preferred registration and information can be found at club24gyms.com.
