Theodore “Ted” Postupack

Theodore “Ted” Postupack, age 81, entered into eternal rest on October 17, 2012 at Birmingham Health Care Center. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Fratrick) Postupack; his wife of 59 years.

Teddy was born in Tamaqua, PA on Feb. 22, 1931 to the late Peter and Mary (Duschavage) Postupack. He spent his childhood in PA, and after marrying his wife, relocated to Shelton in 1956.

Theodore was a self-taught master craftsman, who was often recruited for installing cabinets that he had made. He also gave his time as an usher at St. Joseph Church, Shelton and will be remembered as a jack of all trades, master of all.

Teddy is the loving father of Jeffrey Postupack and his wife Heidi, Jaeynka (Janet) Postupack, and Judith Stark; the caring grandfather of Andrew, Kathryn, Jonathan, and Justin; and brother of Pauline Duncavage and Millie Noga.

He was predeceased by 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
