Police: Suspects stole cigarettes from Buck Stop

Two suspects broke into the Buck Stop Citgo Gas Station, located at 429 Shelton Ave, early Monday morning, stealing cartons of cigarettes, according to Shelton Police.

Police responded to a burglar alarm at the store around 3 a.m., Oct. 15. Upon arrival, police noticed that the rear door had been forced open. Police checked the business and the area but did not locate any suspects.

 

A second suspect. Detectives responded and processed the scene. Surveillance video shows a small, compact vehicle parking by the rear door of the store. It also shows two white male enter the store and take cartons of cigarettes. The males then leave in the vehicle.

This is not the first time the Buck Stop has been hit by criminals. Last December, the store was robbed twice in one month. Police later made an arrest in one of the robberies.
