Anna Lakomy, an actress from Shelton, will be filming the opening scene in Cédric Klapisch’s upcoming feature film Chinese Puzzle.
Klapisch is a French film director most known for his films L’Auberge Espagnole and Russian Dolls. Chinese Puzzle is the third film in the series and is being filmed in New York City.
Lakomy will be portraying a bride getting married in City Hall. While she just started acting professionally in March of this year, she has already had booked many independent and student films. She is currently working on a feature film called “Black & White” (director Michael Ray) as well as a web series “Ndirectionz” and she has lead roles in both.
“I’ve seen Cédric’s films and I still can’t believe that I am going to be in one of them,” Lakomy said. “I am also happy to have been able to wear my wedding dress again, something most women cannot say.”
