Police investigating armed robbery

A reported robbery took place on Saturday, and Shelton Police are investigating.

On Oct. 6, at around 10 p.m., officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station at 99 Bridgeport Avenue.

The employee told police that a male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a black cloth covering his face entered the store and went by the register. The male showed a gun and demanded money. The male then left the store with an undetermined amount of money.

 

There were no other employees or customers inside the store when the incident took place. No injuries were reported.
