Joe Cockertiel, the bird, has been adopted

Joe Cockertiel is a male cockatiel who is about 18 months old. He was rescued from a bird-hoarding situation with his sister, Betty Crockertiel. Both can be very shy due to their difficult start in life, according to H3 Pet Supply. Staff has been working with the birds and they are slowly becoming more appreciative of people. Joe loves to whistle and imitate noises he hears, Betty is quieter but learns things much faster than Joe. Joe and Betty do not like each other, despite being siblings, so it is not required that they be adopted together. H3 Pet Supply would like to place them in a home that is experienced with birds, since they are not easily handled. With someone who can continue to work with them, the staff feels they have a chance to become very sociable birds. H3 Pet Supply, 350 Bridgeport Ave. reports that Joe and Betty have been adopted.
