Shelton man gets top real estate award

Connecticut Magazine has recognized local Realtor Bradford L. Benton, managing partner of Higgins Group Real Estate of Monroe, as a Top Real Estate Agent in the state for 2012 with the highest rating in service and overall satisfaction.

“It’s definitely a thrill to join in recognizing Brad Benton for his outstanding quality of service which has lead to Connecticut Magazine’s coveted award to him,” said Rep. DebraLee Hovey of Monroe, who presented a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly to him for his achievement. “He represents the best of our great business community and I wish him continued success.”

Benton has a background in architecture and design as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

He said these attributes have helped him in providing customers with knowledge of exteriors and interiors of homes they are buying and selling, and gives him greater insight into market trends.

Benton, his wife of 10 years and their two sons live in Shelton.
