Employees at Serra & DelVecchio Insurance in Shelton, with the help of friends, recently collected and donated more than $2,000 in goods to My Sister’s Place & My Sister’s Attic in Ansonia to support the Center for Domestic Violence Services.
They also donated approximately $800 worth of furniture and outdoor items that went to the Ansonia Salvation Army. A report came in the following day that the sofa was given to a woman who was leaving the Domestic Violence Shelter to go into her first apartment.
