Bibiane Auger Dargon

Bibiane Auger Dargon, age 95 of Shelton, wife of the late Henry J. Dargon, passed away September 13, 2012 at home.

Bibiane was born in Weedon, Quebec, Canada on June 10, 1917, daughter of the late Oscar and Victoria Dumas Auger.

She is survived by sons, James Dargon of Vero Beach, Florida, and Donald and John Dargon of Shelton; daughters, Rita Dargon of Shelton, Joan Carmody (David) of North Haven, Diane Cataldo (Michael) of Monroe, and Vivienne Carey (Pierce) of Ansonia; a brother, Roger Auger (Barbara) of Vero Beach, Florida; a sister, Theresa Costello of East Hampton; a sister-in-law Josephine Auger of Hamden; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by daughters, Joyce Dargon and Maureen Gentile; brothers, Gaston and Conrad Auger; and grandson Mark W. Carey.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the JAMES T. TOOHEY & SON FUNERAL HOME, 92 HOWE AVE., SHELTON. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 A.M. in St. Margaret Mary Church, 380 Long Hill Ave. Shelton. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery, Derby.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mark W. Carey Memorial Education Fund through the funeral director.
