Center Stage Theatre will hold auditions for the Broadway version of A Christmas Carol from 10 to noon on Saturday, Sept. 22, for adults and teens; then from 10 to noon on Sunday, Sept. 23, for children, ages 9 to 12.
“We are looking for talented children, teens, and adults between the ages of 9 and 90 to fill our cast for one of the greatest Christmas plays ever written,” said Gary Scarpa, the director.
Candidates will be required to sing one minute of a song of their choice and may participate in an optional dance audition. All roles are open and newcomers, as well as experienced actors are welcome to audition.
This Broadway version of A Christmas Carol, which played at Madison Square Garden to sellout crowds, features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.
