An 82 year-old Shelton resident accidentally drove a black Cadillac through the front window of Modern Nails salon in Huntington Plaza Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police said the woman was pulling into the parking lot and her foot slipped off of the brake pedal and hit the gas pedal. The driver was not injured.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. There were employees and customers in the salon at the time of the crash but nobody was injured.
No charges have been filed and the accident is still under investigation.
