Orthopaedic group adds Shelton High graduate to staff; starts Saturday clinic

Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists (COS) announced the addition of Dr. Jeffrey M. Klauser and a Saturday Morning Injury Clinic for athletes at their newest location, 889 Bridgeport Avenue.

The 6,000 square foot facility will house COS’s medical office and STAR Physical Therapy. Klauser will serve as the lead physician, and will see patients Monday through Friday, with surgeries being performed at Griffin Hospital.

As a former Shelton High School athlete, Klauser developed a passion for playing sports and an interest in sports medicine at a young age.

He said he appreciates the opportunity to start offering quality orthopaedic care to athletes of all levels in his hometown area. Klauser also brings additional fellowship training in hip arthroscopy, as well as offering general orthopaedic care to patients of all ages.

Klauser will soon launch the Saturday Morning Injury Clinic beginning mid-September through November.

This clinic is designed to provide quality and timely care to anyone injured in a game the night before, or anyone who needs immediate orthopaedic attention.

Most insurance will be accepted, no appointments necessary. For more information, go to www.ct-ortho.com or call 203 538-0020.
