Local Shelton Girl Scout Cadette Troop traveled the rails to Washington D.C. in June for the Girl Scout 100th Anniversary. It was an international event attended by over 200,000 girls from around the world. The girls enjoyed the Rock the Mall festivities, organized by the Nations Capital Girl Scout Council, and took in the sights during their three day stay.
