Robert Thomas diCecco

Robert Thomas diCecco, age 71, of Shelton, entered into eternal rest peacefully on August 7, 2012 in his home.

Mr. diCecco was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Fairfield resident before moving to Shelton.

He and his wife traveled the world making many pilgrimages in Europe and the Middle East.

In his earlier years he was active in Little League in Fairfield and was a cub scout master for many years. His faith and his family were everything to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Christine Savary diCecco of Shelton, his loving children David diCecco and his wife Deana of Matthews, NC; and Michele Kingsbury and her husband Andrew of Trumbull; his sister Janice Greiser and her husband Paul formerly of Easton; five cherished grandchildren Matthew, Raymond and Bernadette Kingsbury and Elizabeth and Danielle diCecco; his nieces Janice-Colleen Greiser and Heather Greiser and his nephews Paul Greiser Jr. and Sean Greiser.

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Directly at Christ the King Church 209 Tackora Trail Ridgefield, CT. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. The Rosary will be prayed at 7pm.

Since Robert was a recipient of a lung transplant in January 2008 anyone wishing may make a memorial donation to UPMC (Lung Transplant Division) 1400 Locust St. Pittsburg, PA 15219.
