Brewster Rockets seeking elite players

The Brewster Rockets, one of the Connecticut region’s most successful girls’ fast pitch softball programs, has announced a series of tryouts throughout the month of August to complete 2013 rosters for players from 10U to 18U age divisions.

The Rockets are recognized as a premier organization for Connecticut players hoping to take their game to the next level.

Experienced and successful coaches lead the Rockets in competitive tournament and league play throughout the year, beginning with a modified fall season, excellent winter training and a competitive spring and summer tournament season.

Many Rockets teams at varying age divisions have competed at the national level, playing against some of America’s best softball programs.

Rockets players experience successful high school careers and many have played at Division l, ll and lll levels.

The teams practice at convenient locations for players from southwestern Connecticut and play tournaments throughout the northeast during the spring and summer tournament seasons.

The Rockets organization is welcoming all ages to tryout in August on the following dates at various locations: JFK Elementary School in Brewster, N.Y. on Aug. 5, 8, 11 and 21 ; the Redding Boys & Girls Club in Redding, Conn. on Aug. 9 and at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury on Aug. 25.
