Richard and Karen Yeomans of Stratford announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa Anne Yeomans, to Michael Jan Mysliwiec, son of Donna and John Mysliwiec of Shelton.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Bunnell High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport.
She is a social studies teacher at Kolbe Cathedral High School in Bridgeport.
Mr. Mysliwiec, a graduate of Shelton High School, earned an associate’s degree from Naugatuck Community College and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is a physical therapy assistant at After Care Physical Therapy in Trumbull.
A November wedding is planned.
