Lifeguard course is in August

In August, a lifeguard training course will be held at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church Street. The class runs Fridays, 6-9 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 12-3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, through Sunday, Aug. 19. Register for the course in person at the pool office, with a registration form and check made payable to City Of Shelton for $300. Deadline to register is noon on July 27.
