Brian J. Corris, son of Don and Helen Corris of Shelton and a 1983 graduate of Emmett O’Brien High School, was recently promoted to lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marines.
Returning from Afghanistan, he is currently an explosive ordinance disposal officer for I Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendelton in California.
