Huntington Library open house Saturday celebrates music, Scotland and more

Celebrate Scotland, music and area businesses and especially the city libraries at the annual Huntington Branch open house on Saturday, April 27 from 11-2 p.m.

Participants will include Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Super Sandwich, Panda House, Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society, Baingan Indian Restaurant, Beechwood Market and Royal Bakery.

The event is free and for all ages. Shawn Fields, branch director, said there will be Scottish activities for the youngsters, and staff will be encouraging people to sign up for library cards.
