The storm dumped about 26 inches on Shelton, according to snowfall totals form the National Weather Service.
Travel is sitll hazardous and residents are urged not to go anywhere.
“Do not attempt to drive unless it is an absolute emergency,” Police Chief Joel Hurliman said. “If you get stuck you will be waiting a very long time for help. Everyone is urged to use caution and pace themselves while removing snow.”

Does anyone have an idea of when the secondary and tertiary streets will start being plowed? There is two to three feet on my street in Huntington and I would guess much of the town is in the same position.

We wont and cant go anywhere,havent seen a plow all day and we are stuck with 3ft of snow on it.Got to go to work on Monday.

I live off of capital and my street is still not plowed but the ones next to me are very frustrating . I cant get to work. In addition I have a 13week old baby
