Edward Epifanio Russello, age 92, of Milford, entered into God’s Kingdom on February 5, 2013 from Seacrest Assisted Living, West Haven, CT. He was the beloved husband of the late Rosalie A. Russello for 62 years.
Mr. Russello was also predeceased by his two sisters; Josephine Russello Correnti and Florence Russello.
Mr. Russello was born in Graniti, Sicily, Italy on April 3, 1920. He was the son of the late Epifanio Giuseppe Russello and Giuseppa Corvaia Russello.
Mr. Russello was a veteran of the Italian Army, which he served back in 1940-1945, and also was a POW in Germany. He lived in Milford for 61 years. Mr. Russello worked as a Chrome Plater for Superior Tibon Plating, Southport, CT., for 32 years from where he retired in 1985.
Mr. Russello was a very strong family man. He enjoyed the Milford gardening club, woodworking (each year making homemade wooden toys for his four grandchildren), playing cards, claming, pickling olives, traveling, computers, and his Italian Heritage. Mr. Russello was fluent in both Italian and English.
He is survived by his three loving daughters, Cynthia M. Russello of West Haven, JoAnn Anton of Shelton and Rosemarie Russello Civitello of Milford, his son-in-law Richard Anton of Shelton and his beloved grandchildren Keith Civitello, David Anton, Kyle Civitello and Cassandra Anton.
